Precise blocking of knitted and crocheted items - with blocking mats

Blocking gives knitted and crocheted projects an even and professional look. The blocking mat set from Prym is the ideal surface for perfectly and permanently shaping finished shawls, sweaters, or blankets. Whether it is a delicate lace pattern or a scarf knitted in stockinette stitch, aligning them on the blocking mats creates an even stitch pattern and clean edges.

Complete blocking set with mats, T-pins, and a storage bag

The blocking mat set from Prym contains all the tools needed for blocking knitted and crocheted projects: 9 interlocking blocking mats (30 x 30 cm each), a tin with 15 g of metal T-pins, and a practical storage bag. Marked guide lines on the foam mats facilitate precise pinning and ensure even alignment of the project.

Simple and versatile blocking mats

The blocking mat set from Prym is versatile and easy to use: First, connect the blocking mats to suit the size of the knitted or crocheted item. Then, stretch the slightly dampened piece into the desired shape and position it on the mats. Simply secure it to the foam with the included T-pins and leave to dry. Alternatively, the blocking combs (610431) can be used for pinning. The blocking mats can be reused as often as desired.
