Bias binding strips

Prym's bias tape bars are ideal for making short bias tapes up to 30.5 cm long for appliqués, such as the stem of a flower. By cutting the fabric strips at a 45-degree angle to the fabric grain, the material becomes elastic and can be perfectly sewn around curves. The bias tape bars are heat-resistant, so the seam of the bias tape can be ironed while the bar is still encased in the fabric. The five included bars are 31.5 cm long and come in widths of 3 mm, 4.5 mm, 6.5 mm, 9.5 mm, and 12.5 mm.
