Patent needles, No. 5-9

The patent needles, also known as blind persons' needles, feature a special, open, and spring-loaded eye. They are relatively easy to thread because the taut thread only needs to be pulled through the opening in the top eye, where it is then held. This means even people with visual impairments have no trouble threading them. In addition to this special, burr-free eye, these needles boast the familiar quality parameters of a classic sewing needle, such as a smooth, pore-free surface for glide, balanced spring hardness, and a long, particularly slender ground point shape.
