Both rulers have a vertical metric scale on the front, suitable for shortening trouser and sleeve hems. On the back of the ruler, there is a horizontal scale that allows for perfect marking, folding, and ironing of long, straight hems. Particularly helpful is the illustrated instructions for shortening trousers printed on the template.
