Step 1: Wind the pom-pom

For the fluffy body, use the largest template from the Prym Love pompom set. Place two parts "back-to-back" together and wrap the wool around them. The more wool you use, the fluffier Klaus-Dieter will be!

Step 2: Cutting the pom-pom

Interlock the templates and use scissors to cut along the edge of the pom-pom all the way around.

Step 3: Tie the pom-pom

Thread a piece of wool yarn through the gap between the parts and tie the ends together with a double knot. Then remove the template.

Step 4: Shape the pom-pom

Use the scissors to shape the body into the desired round form.

Step 5: Knitting the legs

Use the Comfort Twist knitting mill to create the 8 little legs. For Klaus-Dieter, they are approx. 15 cm long.

Step 6: Fasten off the thread

Close the open end of the cord using a tapestry needle by pulling the yarn through the three small stitches.

Step 7: Thread the wire

Carefully thread the wire through the knitted cords and bend the little legs into the desired shape.

Step 8: Attach the little legs

Apply fabric glue to the end of each leg and press it firmly into the pom-pom. Wait a moment so the spider doesn't lose a leg!

Step 9: Glue on the eyes

Apply a thin layer of glue to the eyes, let it dry for a moment – and your hauntingly beautiful Halloween spider Klaus-Dieter is ready!
